For a moment, the body stops feeling like an obstacle and becomes a place of joy, breath, and aliveness. Lightbody uses the image of a luminous body to move from heaviness toward a more intimate relationship with the self.
Lightbody follows Fractals of Me with an image of the body as more than a fixed shell or a list of limitations. The luminous body is neither hidden anatomy nor a healing claim. It is an artistic way to capture the moment a person stops perceiving the self only through pain, shame, and judgments about appearance. The narrator discovers breath, movement, voice, and every living cell as forms of participation in the world. Declarations of no flesh and no pain do not deny real embodiment or suffering. They express a brief release from an identity that pain can sometimes occupy completely. When love guides attention back into the body, joy is no longer an escape from matter. It becomes a gentler, freer, and less ashamed way to inhabit it. The closing Lightbody does not carry the soul away, but returns a person to the experience that the body too can be a home for light.
