No Boundary

Where exactly does a person end and the world begin? The body breathes, receives matter and information, and continuously returns them to its surroundings. The sixth track explores a boundary that is real and useful without ever being absolute.

No Boundary questions the simple image of a sealed observer standing opposite the world. With every breath, the environment enters the body. Food becomes tissue, while language and thought emerge through relationships with other people. The boundary of the organism does not disappear, and individuality does not lose its meaning. The song only reveals that this boundary is not absolute. A person is a distinct being and also an open process that cannot exist without its surroundings. The same is true of observation. We do not look at the universe from outside because we are made from the same reality we are trying to understand. This does not mean that one individual is the entire universe or that the mind created everything. It means that observer and observed belong to one whole. Once that connection becomes visible, the rigid line between self and world gives way to a living relationship.
