Time Is a Dream

The past returns as memory and the future arrives as imagination. Between them, Time Is a Dream seeks the present moment where life briefly stops waiting to become something else.

Time Is a Dream imagines time as a story through which the mind connects memory, expectation, and the immediate moment. The song denies neither the past nor the finite nature of life. It explores how easily a person can disappear into what can no longer be changed or what has not yet happened, overlooking the only time in which action is possible. The narrator first releases the plan, fear, and need for a fixed line. Presence gradually becomes a space of play, radiance, and freedom that is not owned by the ego but remains an open experience. Eternity does not mean the endless continuation of a personality here. It is a brief sense of completeness in which the moment needs nothing else to be alive. When time fades and the narrator remains, death has not been defeated. For a moment, the narrator has simply stopped abandoning life in favor of another imagined time.
