Heaven in the Code

How much life are you postponing until everything is finished and you finally arrive? Heaven may not be a reward at the end of the road. It may begin in the moment passing you by right now.

Heaven is usually placed far away. Beyond correct performance, another insight, the final obstacle, or the end of life. That distance keeps a person moving while allowing the only moment in which anything can actually be experienced to pass unnoticed. Heaven in the Code does not pretend the present is always pleasant or that real problems disappear with a smile. It looks for the sacred inside an imperfect life, in breath, closeness, creation, and full attention. Heaven becomes neither an escape from the world nor a reward for merit. It becomes a way of being in the world now without postponing the entire ability to live until later. You do not have to achieve it once and for all. It opens again with every conscious return to the present. What you seek may not be waiting at the end of the road. It may be the quality with which you take the next step.
