Divided by Design

Once the world is divided into us and them, a complex reality gains a simple enemy. The second track asks who receives our attention and energy when difference becomes identity and disagreement turns into hatred.

Divided by Design captures the mechanism that turns natural differences into a permanent battlefield. People need belonging, and that need can easily be tied to fear of those outside the group. Once an opinion becomes proof of personal worth, the question is no longer whether it is true. What matters is whether it confirms our side. The song does not claim that every conflict is manufactured or that every position has equal merit. It asks who benefits when we cannot stop reacting and whether we have truly met the opponent or received only a label. The deepest trap waits for anyone who feels awakened while seeing manipulation only in others. Independence does not begin by finding the correct camp. It begins by refusing to hand personal judgment to any side.
