Cognitive Dawn

Alarm in the body is not evidence and the first thought is not a command. Cognitive Dawn opens a few precious seconds between impulse and response where clarity first becomes choice.

Morning does not remove the landscape of night. It reveals the path that was there all along. Cognitive Dawn stands at the album's center, where observation begins to change actual behavior. The body sounds an alarm, the mind offers the worst interpretation, and an old response starts moving in its familiar direction. This time you catch it before it finishes the entire story for you. A few seconds appear between stimulus and response in which reality can be checked, a need can be named, or nothing can be done until the first wave passes. Dawn means neither the end of fear nor permanent rule by reason. It means fear no longer has the exclusive right to determine the next step. What was once only self knowledge becomes practical freedom. You may return to unawareness many times, but can no longer mistake it for the only possible way to live.
