Holy Game enters the moment when a person can no longer divide the world into the innocent and the guilty as simply as before. The demons he fled grew from seeds planted by his own choices, while the angels he prayed to resemble light he kept postponing within himself. This realization does not claim that people are responsible for everything that has happened to them. It restores power over what a person does with pain, which thoughts become weapons, and which wounds become shields. The song brings silence and sound, falling and rising, fear and flame into a single inner game. When the narrator recognizes his own face within the names he once blamed, conflict does not magically disappear. It does, however, stop being a story of a pure self against a corrupted world. Holy Game invites a form of responsibility that does not humiliate, but returns the key to a cage that no longer has to be built.
